To the disappointment of many fans Junior H, Natanael Cano, and Fuerza Regida with Jimmy Humilde’s Rancho Hulmide did not perform.
The popular young artist Chino Pacas from Apaseo El Alto, Guanajuato, Mexico performed Friday March 15th, 2024 celebrating his Mexican culture and fans throughout his set. His dj began with, “Arriba Mexico!” as he introduced him. From there, Chino Pacas performed well despite problems with his microphone. He sang his popular hits “Dijieron Que No La Iba Lograr,” “El Gordo Trae El Mando,” and several others. The appreciative Chino Pacas’ performance was demonstrative of the beautiful connections two bordering countries share, as evidenced by the cheerful chants from the crowd.
Virgil Rene Gazca knowns as That Mexican OT from Bay City, Texas brought his southern influenced rap to Rolling Loud 2024. He performed on Sunday, March 17th, 2024. He led with, “If y’all proud to be brown let me hear some goddamn noise!” The entertaining and lively That Mexican OT brought energy to the crowd performing his recent hits “Johnny Dang,” “September 8th,” and “02.02.99.” He went down from the stage and up to the crowd barriers to shake hands with fans, record himself on one of their phones, smoke their weed, and was gifted a cowboy hat.
OhGeesy represented Latino culture his own way performing Saturday March 16th, 2024. The Los Angeles area rapper was dressed in all black with two huge chains draped around his neck. He explained he was asked to perform last minute and accepted to “turn this bitch up!” The Rolling Loud veteran OhGeesy, the young Chino Pacas, and That Mexican OT each proudly represented Mexican culture differently and in their own way.
